A classic Morgon nose of strawberries, cinnamon and earth merge perfectly with the medium-bodied, complex and perfectly balanced palate. This wine really shows the texture and density of Cote du Py. While delicious now with steak frites, roast chicken, or virtually any manner of pork, the 2023 Gauthier Morgon Cote du Py will improve in terms of complexity over the next five to seven years. A really nice deal.
