This cuvée includes some of the best vineyards Walter Scott works with including Freedom Hill, Hyland, Sojourner and Witness Tree. With a pristine nose, clean (non-reductive) aromas of pure Chardonnay fruit with a hint of lime zest and a palate that’s linear in the Walter Scott manner and medium-bodied with a silken texture, the 2025 version of the La Combe Verte is a little richer than the ’24 version with balancing acidity and a reprise of the lime zest note.Yeah.
