#@$%! - this is amazing wine! True, we love great Fiano, but this Vadiaperti’s Aipierti is on a completely different level than any Fiano we’ve ever had before and we’ve had a few. Straw yellow with an explosive nose typical of the best Fianos but with the volume turned up. The palate is dry, full bodied and well-structured, offering lush apricot and peach fruit and an elegant, mineral laced finish. I’m afraid that I can’t do this wine justice. Just know that it is going into my personal cellar. A perfect match for antipasti, seafood platters, pasta with clams - well, pretty much anything that once resided in sea, as well as grilled white meat dishes. Enjoy this outstanding value now and over the next eight to ten years (really). Grand Cru white wine!
