Salmos is a tribute to the monks of the Carthusian Monastery who began farming the steep rolling hills of black llicorella slate soils in 1194. Famillia Torres, the constant steward of place and history, create a wonderfully typicit wine that is striking from the start with a beautiful dark cherry color. Intense and captivating on the nose with generous notes of strawberry jam, raspberries, and red berries mixed with a background of rosemary, lavender, prunes, and dates. The medium-bodied palate is velvety with very fine tannins that extend on the palate with peppered red and black fruits. This wine is surprisingly fresh with vibrant acidity that balances all that complexity. The perfect candidate for grilled lamb and summer vegetables. Very very limited
