Tintero is one of importer Kermit Lynch’s most under the radar wineries, which is nice because it keeps the price down. 2021 is an unquestionably great vintage in Piedmont, and has lifted many Barolo and Barbaresco producers wines to new heights. This is definitely the case for Elvio Tintero as this is the best wine we have ever had from Tintero. This is a Barbaresco you can dig into right away, full of rich dark fruit with spicy hints of clove and orange zest leading to an elegant finish. Delicious Nebbiolo.
