The newly released 2024 Fregate is a stunning Bandol Rosé. it shouts Bandol both aromatically and on the palate - there is no other place this wine could have come from. A shimmering pink-orange color, the nose offers blood orange, nectarine and saline mineral aromas with notes of bay leaf and lavender. The palate is at once dense and chewy, yet fresh and uplifting with red fruit and strong core of minerality. Refreshing and oh, so food-friendly. Limited.
