Antonio Galloni must have forgotten to review this wine for Vinous, so you’ll have to deal with mine: “Comprised of two sections of the great Ginestra vineyard. The beautiful nose is very classic and impressive with dried roses and porcini scents. The palate is pure silk despite the (elegant) tannic structure. Notes of new leather, earth, blood orange peel complement the Nebbiolo fruit. Approachable with food now despite the tannins, this wine will really develop over the next 20 years. Buy.”
