The Wente block selection beautiful straw yellow mixed with green highlights and a gray metallic edge give a crystalline appearance. Very floral with lemon and lime citrus, honey, and crushed stones. The palate is brilliantly defined with laserbeam acidity and a kiss of reduction. Restrained power coursing through the mid-palate lead to a racy and very refreshing finish. Chardonnay doesn't get much more chic than this. Great now, but better in 3-5 years.
