“I want to drink this wine!” - my notes from the other day when the importer tasted us on it. This wine is from Cassis - perhaps from the prettiest appellation in France - where a charming village, chalky white cliffs, and irresistible aquamarine water inlets flank lush vineyards along the Mediterranean coast. No surprise that this blend of Cinsault and Grenache offers a sense of elegance to go along with its overt deliciousness. Yep, overt deliciousness. So good.
