One of the most historical wineries of the region and with the highest in elevation vineyards, Volpaia is crafting some seriously delicious and some deliciously serious wines. This bottling actually gets a 10% blend of Merlot which acts as a very nice anchor point to the Sangiovese base yet still registers as incredibly pure.
