We've happily featured Mazzoni's age-worthy and distinct Nebbiolo bottlings more than a few times over the years. So, when we tasted the Vespolina recently, we were already anticipating a delicious wine. As you may have already guessed, we were immediately impressed. Eruptive aromatics of black cherries, rose, and dirt. Maximum purity on display rather than overt complexity. Like a laser beam of perfectly ripe Bing cherries and pomegranate juice but with plenty of fine grained tannin to anchor the juicy fruit profile. Fresh and ready to enjoy right now.
