The 2019 Barolo Monfalletto is already super aromatic and drinking great with pristine Nebbiolo fruit and plenty of structure for mid-term aging. This is quite a deal for Barolo of this stature from a really good vintage. “The 2019 Barolo Monfalletto is a dense, powerful wine. I don’t remember a vintage of Monfalletto with this much sheer concentration and color saturation. Blanc cherry, plum, mocha, licorice and new leather are all dialed up.
